I hate being the person that has to deliver bad news to a friend.
I had to tell a friend that his dog died and the look on his face was so sad and horrifying that I have never forgotten the image in 28 years.
I had to tell a friend recently some news that made him very sad and upset. I debated on whether or not I should say anything at all to my friend. I didn’t want to be the person to bring bad news. They often say you kill the messenger. I was working at the marijuana delivery service a few weeks ago and I got in order for a hotel guest downtown at one of the fancy new places. It was my first time making a marijuana delivery in the hotel and I was a little lost. Apparently they have multiple towers of rooms to make it even more confusing for the delivery guys. I ended up in the bar on the West Tower. I saw my friend’s girlfriend with another guy and they were in the hotel bar together. I could hardly believe my eyes. I was very shocked and surprised. I never expected to see her at the bar with someone else. I don’t think that she saw me at all, but I saw her draped all over the guy. There’s no way that he was just a friend. I have to tell my buddy what I saw at the hotel, but I can’t find the words. I don’t want to wait too long. He is still with the girl and she is obviously sneaking around behind his back.
