Also, it happens to be true. That many people vanish in the forests of the nation every single year. Where do they go? People know all manner of crazy theories, like Sasquatch, or Alien abductions. I have another theory, 1 which is much more grounded in reality. I know that a lot of those people run afoul of cannabis farmers in the deepest woods, and are not allowed to leave. If you know this sounds crazy then you obviously have never seen an illegal cannabis farm. Way out in the boondocks there are survivalists and hillbillies who grow cannabis as a currency crop, and protect their livelihood with guns and violence. The friendly hometown cannabis corporation may be actually peaceful and ecstatic, however the folks who grow the crops are nothing like that. These are not the placid, Zen-like hippies that you have seen on TV, because cannabis farming is extreme corporation with extreme consequences. There was one cannabis growing operating in California which was eventually tried for a series of 12 murders. When someone snuck into their cannabis farm, they would be murdered. Isn’t that scary? Medical cannabis is such an amazing way to enhance life, so it’s shocking to learn that it is cultivated by such scary people. Think about that the next time you’re in the cannabis dispensary.
