I contacted the customer and I told her that she needed to meet me in the parking lot
It has been raining a lot the last couple of weeks. The temperatures are cold and I suspect that we will probably have snow before the end of the month. I have been dealing with the rain almost every night at work. It wouldn’t be terrible, but my job happens to be a delivery service driver. I deliver marijuana and marijuana products from a dispensary in the city. We take marijuana products all over town and we deliver from 7:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night. I am almost always in my car making deliveries during the day. There really isn’t any downtime. When it’s raining, the marijuana dispensary is especially busy. Our delivery orders probably doubled during that time. Last weekend the rain was coming down hard and it was really difficult to see. There was mud everywhere and I was slipping and sliding all over the place. One of my customers was in an apartment building on the south side. I pulled into the parking lot and the whole place looked like a swamp. There was absolutely no way that I was going to get out of my car and get my feet wet. I was on my last pair of dry socks and I didn’t have any other sneakers in the back of the car. I contacted the customer and I told her that she needed to meet me in the parking lot. She complained about the fact that she ordered for delivery and not pick up, but I wasn’t going to budge. I wasn’t getting out of the car in the rain.
