My friends and I go to the Res to get a fee for the Native American tribal reservation.
This community came into existence when the US government settled with the indigenous people, and compensated them with some land.The interesting bit is that the Res, and all tribal lands, are considered to be both sovereign and different from the rest of the country. For one, they make their own laws as they see fit! We love running to the Res because they have this amazing casino, and are also known for the best cannabis dispensary ever. The cannabis shop on the Res is run by one old guy called Will. We always find him every time we visit and have come to conclude that this is because he is the best employee or a stingy owner who doesn’t want to pay employees to work for him. Every time we visit, we first pass by the cannabis shop and get everything we need before going into the casino. By the time I leave the casino I am always broke, so if I don’t buy my cannabis first I will when we leave the casino, we are always broke and sober. If we don’t buy the cannabis in advance, we also risk leaving empty-handed. The last time I was in the Res cannabis shop, Will told me he had this unique modern strain of locally cultivated sativa called Two Wolves. This is a hybrid of cannabis flower, and would make me feel light headed. He made me promise to not smoke any of this cannabis before I was home, because it would make me too high to drive.
