I observed how there were several people trying to put in online orders for a marijuana delivery. No one asked about ages and I was anxious none of the bartenders weren’t asking. If my people didn’t ask about the ages of the clients when they called in an order, I was going to end up in prison; You had to be at least 21 years of age just to enter the website. I called my online marketing contractor Steve and asked for my cannabis dispensary specialist. I told Steve there were people under the age of 21 coming into the dispensary to purchase marijuana. This process was so much simpler when my buddy and I only sold medical marijuana. Back then You had to have a medical marijuana ID card to purchase our marijuana products. Currently, you could purchase recreational marijuana, which only needed a legal state ID card to show you were 21. I knew what it was to forge an ID to make it look like you were 21. When I got in touch with Steve the website developer, he told me there was no age verification tools on my website. Steve said it would be straight-forward to do, and he could have repeat age verification on our website if someone got past the first one. It was straight-forward to have an I am not a robot test box, and even easier for some to click the I am over 21 box, when they were not. The robot test was verifiable, but the over 21 was not. I wasn’t sure what they would do to the website, but I was guaranteed by Steve that no one under the age of 21 would be putting in an order or receiving cannabis delivery if they were under the age of 21.
