I workout every morning for approximately sixty minutes.
My physical fitness is a priority.
Most of my exercises are very demanding on the leg muscles. My favorite type of workout is jumping rope. I’ve gotten quite proficient at a variety of jump rope skills and built my stamina. I can jump for forty or fifty minutes and burn a tremendous amount of calories. Unfortunately, the hard impact on my feet and strain on the muscles has led to issues with cramps in my calves. I don’t want to rely on prescription pain-relieving drugs. They are addictive and include all sorts of terrible side-effects. I’ve done some research into the potential of cannabis to treat leg cramps and pain. I have learned that the human body is made up of a complex network of endocannabinoids, receptors and enzymes known as the ECS or Endocannabinoid System. The ECS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis. The cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, such as THC, CBD and CBN interact with the receptors located in the brain, connective tissues, glands, organs and immune cells. The right combination and potency of cannabinoids can work to alleviate pain and inflammation. I am fortunate that recreational cannabis is legal in my state. I’m able to shop for medicinal marijuana without requiring an MMJ card. There are a diversity of products available at the dispensary. I have found that tinctures are especially effective in treating my symptoms. I like that they are discreet, portable and provide rapid onset of effects. It is very easy to control dosage. I place the tincture under my tongue and wait a minute or so for cannabinoids to be absorbed sublingually. I then swallow any remaining liquid. I usually notice a lessening of pain within fifteen minutes.
