I manage a marijuana dispensary in the village and most of the clientele are 20 and 30-year-olds. We are basically in the middle of the up and coming district where more and more young people are deciding to buy real estate. There are boutiques, clothes shops, artisan stores, and mom and pop arenas all over the town. We have more yoga studios and gyms than any arena in the city, but people around here are rather harsh about what they put into their bodies and that happens to include the marijuana products they smoke. We have one of the most diverse selections of premium marijuana products in the city. We only hire budtenders that are efficient and know each part of the cannabis plant. It hasn’t been easy to find anyone to work on the weekends at the marijuana dispensary. Everyone has the wish to stay home on the weekends and cherish their free time. I hired two people to work during the weekends before. The first weekend I had them scheduled to work, both of them flaked out and did not call or show up. I have been looking for someone to work on the weekends these days. My boss advocated hiring her nephew. His resume has been at the top of the pile for such a long time period. I entirely do not want her nephew working with me because I do not want to deal with nepotism. The kid will work weekends, but he is going to report everything that happens at the store and I do not have the wish to have a snitch working at my arena. Eventually I’m going to have to hire this person though. My boss has hinted around 4 or 5 times. I do not want to disappoint her.
