The local cannabis dispensary carries every consumption method and a nearly endless list of strains.
When I first began shopping, I was strictly familiar with dried flower and smoking a pipe or a joint.
There are hundreds of flower options on the shelf, varying in THC percentages and terpenes. If I don’t feel like taking the time or putting in the effort of assembling a joint, I shop pre-rolls. They are available in singles and packs of joints, blunts and cannagars at a wide range of prices. Some are filled with shake or trim for affordability. I am willing to pay more for top-shelf bud and like the pre-rolls infused with kief for superior potency and flavor. Pre-rolls are an ideal opportunity to try something new. Whether hand-rolled or machine-rolled, they can be counted on to provide an even burn. I don’t worry about the pre-roll refusing to light, burning up too quickly or creating a lengthy ash. I don’t need to have access to a grinder, papers or any extra gear other than a lighter. The pre-rolls from the dispensary are all lab-tested and third-party verified. They are properly packaged for safety, freshness and portability. I can easily pack a pre-rolled joint into a purse, backpack or even a pocket. Because of their popularity, nearly every brand produces multiple strains of pre-rolls. There are indica, sativa and hybrid pre-rolls that run the gamut between incredibly high THC potency and higher CBD percentages. I have begun to be a bit more particular about my pre-rolls. I’ve found the brands, strains and terpenes that appeal to me. I am fortunate that the dispensary frequently includes pre-rolls in their daily deals.
