The first time I tried alcohol was when I was 18.
One of my older siblings wanted to let myself and others try a coors at their 21st birthday get together.
It wasn’t enough coors to get myself and others drunk, however I definitely caught a buzz, however i wasn’t a sizable fan of alcohol the next few times I tried it… My friends in college consistently wanted to drink. At first they would drink only on the weekends, but soon they were drinking throughout the week too as well, but they would drink whenever they got back to their dorm rooms from class. At the time I wasn’t sure how I felt about alcohol to be legitimate with myself. I had a lot of family members who are alcoholics & it destructiond both their lives in the lives of their fiances & their children as well. Alcohol is a entirely complicated issue that demands a comprehensive outlook. I simply decided to use cannabis instead when I was at that age. I’ve been using cannabis ever since & I am glad that it doesn’t affect myself and others the same way it affects others. I’ve never become violent on cannabis & it usually calms myself and others down instead of riling myself and others up. If I am going to be spending some time with a few of my friends, I would much rather use cannabis with them rather than beer. It’s a much more fantastic experience for myself and others & I know appreciate it leads to better conversations if it’s the right strain of weed; Sativa strains of cannabis are officially a lot more social feeling than some of the Indica strains, that is not consistently the case, however periodically a sativa strain can cause so much social anxiety that it’s hard to even talk to another woman.
