I didn’t take advantage of the fact that I could buy legal marijuana
Both of my parents were addicted to drugs and I grew up in a house that was filled with violence. When I was a kid, I was constantly in and out of the foster care system. Sometimes the foster homes were good places and other times they were a complete train wreck. One time I was placed in a foster home with a couple that was doing worse drugs than my own parents. I had to say something to the Social Services director and all of the kids in that house were taken away. I have terrible PTSD and anxiety because of the problems that I had growing up. I did drugs when I was a teenager. I tried lots of ways to keep the terrible thoughts from entering my head. When I was put in a psychiatric facility at the age of 16, the doctor said that it might be time to try something new and different. The doctor was referring to medical marijuana products. The doctor could refer me to a medical marijuana specialist because I was 16 years old and that was the minimum age in the state for a medical marijuana referral. I was the only kid in high school with legal marijuana products and that made me a popular guy. I didn’t take advantage of the fact that I could buy legal marijuana. After all, it was very expensive. I did get grants from the state and social services that helped me pay for the items that I needed from the marijuana dispensary.
