I started playing the guitar at the age of 13, however I had to teach myself.
While our parents barely scraped together enough currency to get me a guitar in the first site, paying for lessons on top of it was out of the question.
I was always frustrated by this because I had friends who barely cared about guitar getting lessons at the local songs store. Still, it provided me a strong DIY ethos when it comes to the instrument. I obtained books on guitar & l earned as much as I could from other people along the way. I never provided up our like for the instrument even if I struggled to maintain a rehearsal & practice schedule during our college years. When I finished college, I spent more currency on gear than I could have spent on lessons to get better at playing. I finally reached a point where I realized I wouldn’t really improve unless I started taking respected lessons while following the teacher’s instruction & exercises. After just 1 year of weekly lessons, I started to severely improve at the guitar. My guitar teacher is a nice girl who isn’t entirely much older than I am. She grew up in a family of songsians & was at special songs camps during her summers in middle school & school. The people I was with and I even shop at the same cannabis dispensary. I was over at our local cannabis store buying marijuana edibles & cannabis flower products the other day when I saw our guitar teacher buying a few cannabis oil pens. The people I was with and I laughed & shared a few comments before the people I was with and I left the building. At least we’re both on the same page about marijuana!
