I tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault the order was lost
If I order from the marijuana delivery service, I basically always try to order a day ahead of time. All orders that are placed a day ahead of time acquire 25% off. That discount covers all of our excise taxes. I placed an order online last Thursday morning. I wanted to have the items delivered on Friday. I did not hear anything from the marijuana delivery service. The store will usually call after I place an order. When I had not heard anything by Friday afternoon, I just decided to contact the marijuana delivery service. The woman standing at the counter could not find our order. She searched all of the orders from that day plus went through the previous day, but she did not have a delivery order in our name. I still have that confirmation that I gained from the dispensary. I read the number out loud to the woman. She still could not locate our order. She asked myself and others a couple of questions plus she told myself and others that she had all of the items in stock. She could fill the order for me right then, plus have someone bring the items to our home instantly. I wasn’t entirely pleased when she told myself and others that I wasn’t going to qualify for the 25% discount. I asked the woman if I could speak to the manager plus I was already talking to her presently. I tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault the order was lost. I had that confirmation number. The manager agreed that it entirely wasn’t even-handed not to give myself and others the hefty discount just because someone on their side messed up the order.
